Faucet Repair
A dripping or leaking faucet is usually a worn cartridge or seal, not a worn-out faucet. Kitchen and bathroom faucet repairs cost $225 to $350 plus HST, depending on the part.

What it is doing
Most faucet problems fall into four causes, and only some of them need a new faucet.
Repair or replace
A repair makes sense when the faucet is a decent quality model and the problem is one worn part.
If replacing is the better answer, installing a faucet you supply is $225 plus HST, and a Moen Chateau kitchen faucet supplied and installed is $420 plus HST. See faucet and sink installation.

Questions we get asked
Most leaking or dripping faucet repairs are $225 to $350 plus HST, depending on the part.
On a good-quality faucet, a repair is usually cheaper, because most drips are one worn cartridge or seal. On a low-cost faucet that is cracked or keeps loosening, replacing it is usually better value.
A steady drip from the spout is usually a worn cartridge or worn seals inside the faucet.
Usually a clogged aerator or cartridge, which is common with hard water. Unscrew the aerator at the tip of the spout and rinse it first.
